Bill has more than 25 years’ experience representing public and private companies in a wide variety of industries. Prior to joining Reiter, Brunel & Dunn, PLLC, Bill’s career in private practice included tenures at several law firms of various sizes, including as a partner at the Austin office of Hughes & Luce, L.L.P (now K&L Gates). In addition to his private practice, Bill served as General Counsel for two publicly-traded companies, Medical Innovations, Inc., a home healthcare provider (NASDAQ: MIXX), and Digital Lifestyles Group, Inc., a designer, manufacturer and distributor of personal computers (OTC: DLFG). Prior to beginning his legal career, Bill worked as a Corporate Lending Officer for First City National Bank in Houston, after receiving his Masters of Business Administration.

During his career as General Counsel and in private practice, Bill has counseled clients on a variety of transactions, primarily focused on private placements and public offerings of equity and debt securities, mergers and acquisitions and compliance with the reporting requirements of the Exchange Act of 1934. He has assisted his clients in completing public offerings, including initial public offerings, going-private transactions, acquisitions and sales of publicly-traded and private companies, the sale and acquisition of securities in private placements, private placements of public equity (PIPEs) and formation of venture capital and other investment funds. He is experienced in managing corporate governance matters, including interactions with Boards of Directors of public and private companies.

During his career in private practice, Bill has represented a number of publicly-traded companies, including, among others, the following: Xplore Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: XPLR); Multimedia Games Holding Company, Inc. (NASDAQ: MGAM) (acquired by Global Cash Access Holdings); TippingPoint Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: TPTI) (acquired by 3COM), Maxxim Medical, Inc. (NYSE: MAM) and P10 Industries, Inc. (OTC: PIOE) (formerly Active Power, Inc.).

Bill is happily married with two children in college. In his free time he plays tennis and enjoys skiing.
