He employs best management practices, is cost-sensitive, and maintains the highest level of professionalism and ethics. Dale is a team player who regularly works with top business and financial executives, as well as line managers and employees, regulators and outside stakeholders.
Dale started his legal career as an Associate with Baker & Botts in Houston, Texas as a trial lawyer handling a variety of litigation matters, and as an employment and labor lawyer. From Baker & Botts, Dale moved to Maxxam Inc. where he practiced for 10 years, the last five as Managing Counsel or Senior Assistant General Counsel. Dale served as in-house counsel to Maxxam and all its subsidiary companies (see above) which operated in a wide variety of disparate industries including mining and manufacturing, metals and chemicals, energy, natural resources, real estate development, hospitality and gaming, securities trading and others.
