Full Bio:
Craig started his legal career as an associate at Bracewell & Patterson in Houston, Texas as a commercial litigator.He later moved to Compaq Computer Corporation where he practiced for thirteen years, the last five as Associate General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary. During his tenure there Compaq grew from a $1.5 billion revenue PC manufacturer in North America to a $38 billion global business with a broad range of products and services. Craig was responsible for development and delivery of legal services to the following significant organizations: ·Access Business Group was an $18 billion personal computer products organization.Primary focus was on technology licensing, intellectual property, marketing and sales, and litigation management. ·Consumer Products Group was an $8 billion consumer products organization.The focus was on innovative Internet and technology licensing agreements, antitrust, litigation management, and OEM manufacturing relationships. ·Supply Chain Management Group was charged with the procurement of over $28 billion of components from a global supply base, manufacture at facilities around the world and distribution worldwide.The legal focus was on a broad range of commercial transactions, customs & export compliance, outsourcing agreements, construction, complex litigation, and labor issues. Other responsibilities included provision of legal support for general corporate governance matters, including SEC compliance and filings, preparation and negotiation of lease agreements, and construction of Compaq’s campus. Since leaving Compaq Craig has served in several acting business capacities (including CEO) for an early stage Internet distribution company, International Music Net Inc. He has focused on business development, raising capital, and developing sound business and governance practices.He continues to serve on the board of that company. Craig served on the staffs of seven senior vice presidents and three general counsels.
