As an Associate Sponsor and Affiliate Board Member of BioHouston, Phillips & Reiter provides pro-bono business assessment services and general counsel services to this non-profit organization whose mission is to establish the Houston region as a vigorous global competitor in life science and biotechnology commercialization.

The Boy Scouts of America

Phillips & Reiter attorneys serve as Charter Organization Representatives and Assistant Scoutmasters in a number of local scout troops for the Boy Scouts of America, one of the nation’s largest and prominent values-based youth development organizations.

East End Chapter

Habitat for Humanity

Phillips & Reiter attorneys volunteer their time to participate on teams to build affordable housing in Houston through Habitat for Humanity, the largest non-profit homebuilder in the United States.

Houston Angel Network

National Space and Technology Association (NSTA)

Vickery Meadow Youth Development Foundation and Vickery Meadow Improvement District

Phillips & Reiter attorneys volunteer in advisory and other capacities for the Vickery Meadow Youth Development Foundation  and Vickery Meadow Improvement District in Dallas, two non-profit organizations  dedicated to making the inner-city Dallas area known as Vickery Meadow a great community.  VMYDF and VMID help the children and adults of Vickery Meadow reach their full potential with community service activities including health clinics; educational funding; crime prevention; evening, weekend and summer recreational activities;  college entrance assistance and scholarships for high school seniors; and by organizing Dallas police department volunteers and other responsible adults to support these activities.

West Houston Chamber of Commerce

Phillips & Reiter is a Chairman’s Circle Sponsor of the Houston West Chamber of Commerce, a networking organization dedicated to building economic prosperity for the rapidly growing West Houston community. Women’s Energy Network of Houston

The Women’s Energy Network was established by Phillips & Reiter attorney Karyl Lawson as a tool to provide networking opportunities for women in the energy industry as well as to foster career and leadership development.
