Spent 13 years at Compaq Computer Corp., the last 5 as Associate General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary; responsible for the delivery of all legal services to multi-billion dollar organizations delivering design, development, manufacture, distribution and sale of technology products and services on a worldwide basis. Serving on senior management team, he addressed legal issue including general commercial, technology licensing, customs and exports, antitrust, acquisitions & divestitures, labor, patent strategy, litigation management and judicial reform in multiple countries.
Served in several business capacities (including CEO) for an early stage Internet distribution company. Focused on business development, raising capital, negotiation of supplier agreements, licensing of intellectual property, and developing sound business and governance practices.
Practiced as an associate for Bracewell & Patterson in Houston, Texas focusing in commercial litigation.
